Simulační úloha plánování radioterapie

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with problematic of ionizing radiation and its use in treating malignant and benign tumors. Theoretical part describes effects of ionizing radiation on the body and principles of radiation. There are also marked parametres, that influence therapy process and its planning. The practical part deals with design of the program, which is created in MATLAB environment and allows you to select the image of the tumor, detection of required tumor and subsequent modeling isocentric focused beam of radiation sources. The program offer four radiation sources, that are stationary placed. The entire radiation takes place in 2D array. The main result of the work is to create a program, that simulate the radiation process of radiotherapy.
