Zhodnocení aktivity městské policie na příkladu Bystřice pod Hostýnem

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with issues and problems of municipal police, its characteristics and position in the system of public administration in the Czech Republic. It focuses on a particular organisation, the Municipal Police of the Town of Bystřice pod Hostýnem, its origins, activities and roles which are fulfilled in the administrative area of the town of Bystřice pod Hostýnem and the village of Chvalčov. The aim of the thesis is to describe the Municipal Police of the Town of Bystřice pod Hostýnem as an institute of protection of order and security in the area of the town, and as a fully-fledged part of other municipal police units in the Czech Republic in pursuance of its tasks. The main part of the thesis is dedicated to evaluation of the activity of this organisation from 2012 to 2016 by comparing the data within the town, the Zlín Region and the whole Czech Republic. A survey research with respondents who live in Bystřice pod Hostýnem and its local parts forms a big part of the thesis.
