Návrh řízení automobilové dopravy na průtahu silnice I/56 v Hlučíně

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of car traffic control on the I/56 road through the built-up part of the town of Hlucin. The introductory part describes the locations in terms of broader traffic relations to present the current traffic situation. The following part is devoted to the theoretical background of the traffic situation with the use of traffic lights. The chapter presents the prerequisites for the construction of SSS facilities together with a description of the construction layout of such sites, together with other traffic engineering approaches leading to the design of a signal plan. The thesis goes on to describe the practical solution, firstly detailing the current state of each intersection in terms of its construction layout and wider traffic relationships. Later, changes resulting from the traffic control proposal by the author of the thesis are added to this and described. The following section deals with the design of signal plans providing green wave coordination between the intersections on the I/56. The aim of the thesis is to develop a functional traffic management system ensuring two-way coordination of the green wave on the territory of Hlucin and to verify the suitability of the draft in terms of intersection capacity.
