Abstract

This diploma thesis dealing with streamlining production process for the customer of the company. In the theoretical part is introducing the engineenering company SSI – Schäfer, s.r.o., in which the issue of the selected process is solved. Theoretical part continues to focus on production and manufacturing processes. Subsequently is in this thesis introduces planning and production management, while defining the concepts and systems of production management. Last but not least are in the theoretical part introduces partial methods and tools of lean production. In the practical part is analyzed current state of the production process. From the results of the analysis of the production process are identified shortcomings and are formulated proposals that can be used to streamline of the current production state including are carried out the economical evaluation.
