This diploma thesis deals with thermographic measurement of objects with a complicated surface. The introductory part explains the physical basis of thermal radiation and infrared thermography. This part is followed by the experimental measurement
and evaluation of the results. The final part describes an alternative method for the measurement of the surface temperature of glossy materials. The aim of the thesis is
to evaluate the limitations in the measurement of the surface temperature of materials with complicated surface and suggest appropriate experimental arrangement.
