Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to compare two different modes of organization and management of traffic at the intersection (with kinked highway; roundabout) to assess reconstruction of road safety. After initial familiarization with the intersection I mention the results of traffic surveys (survey intensity, directional survey analysis of traffic accidents, etc . ) in the period before and after the conversion . The next chapter is about capacitive calculations, design modifications of this intersection and microsimulation program PTV VISSIM. In conclusion, I evaluated the effectiveness of reconstruction, comparing the results of my traffic surveys and calculations.
