Křižovatka Rudná – Závodní v Ostravě

Abstract

SVITAVSKÁ, Lenka. Intersection Rudna - Zavodni in Ostrava. Thesis. VŠB - TU Ostrava, Faculty of Civil Engineerin 2018, 48 p. Supervisor doc. Ing. Vladislav Křivda, Ph.D. The aim of the work is to analyze road safety at the intersection Rudná - Závodní in Ostrava. In the first part there is description of the current state. In the thesis there are included the results of the traffic survey, traffic forecast for the prospective year, capacity calculation, traffic accidents and videonalysis of conflict situations. Furthermore, there are alternative proposals for the traficc signal control of intersection. Thesis also includes simulation models in the program PTV VISSIM including statistical comparisons of individual modifications.
