Abstract

This Work’s contents are focused on heat pumps and especially development of user interface for such technology. In the beginning the work contains brief information regarding construction and history and possible applications of heat pumps. However the main focus of this work is not do describe the technology of a heat pump rather than to create a complex functional and user friendly software product, capable of taking its place on market. Considering the topic of this work, I hope it is understandable that it restricts itself to description of software and firmware implementation of the touchscreen interface, implementation of visualization and simulation of the actual heat pump technology. Each step taken during the development has been discussed not only with the heat pump distributor, but also with the Mitsubishi Company, whose heat pump is used implemented in the system. Mitsubishi has an apparent interest their products are distributed in systems with certain level of user comfort. In conclusion the heat pump offers heating and cooling mode, four customizable regulation loops, week program regulation, touchscreen interface located on the device and visualization for PC. This document describes each step, necessary to complete this product and in concluding doesn’t forget to present possible future works and improvements to the touchscreen interface and visualization.
