Abstract

In the submitted thesis is the preparation of processed coal block 40th seam on the Coal Mine Darkov for future long-wall No. 340 206. The first part of the work is concentrated on the 40th seam, including geological, geo-mechanical and safety risks. Then my thesis it is dedicated for preparing for future long wall face. The next part is a proposal of mining technology. In the proposal is up-to-date technology deployed in OKD a.s. within the investment project of modernization POP 2010. Further I describe ventilation in area including anti-heating and anti-dust measures. In conclusion, I present the work performance and economic parameters for that long-wall.
