Návrh a výroba fantomu dutiny břišní pro ultrasonografická měření

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the design and creation of an abdominal phantom for ultrasonographic measurements. The main aim of the thesis is to create a functional phantom that will be used for teaching biomedical technicians and engineers. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the basic description of ultrasound and its applications, description of different types of phantoms, including commercially produced ones. Furthermore, the anatomy of the abdominal cavity is described in this section. In the practical part, the materials for phantom production are discussed, including the selection of final devices. The initial design of the phantom is also described, including the software used and a description of the actual manufacture. The functionality of the phantom was verified by ultrasound testing and by comparing individual images with the ultrasound images from the book Manuál ultrazvukové diagnostiky. The assignment of the laboratory task is also part of the thesis and can be found in the IS EDISON appendices.
