Posouzení rizika výbuchu při výrobě ocelových skeletů a karoserií

Abstract

The presented bachelor’s thesis deals with the assessment of explosion risk within the manufacturing process of steel structures and car bodies, with a focus on the explosive properties of dust generated during production, particularly metal dust. The introductory part characterizes the investigated manufacturing facility, describes the existing explosion protection concept, and summarizes current knowledge in the field of metal dust explosibility. Subsequently, an analysis and experimental verification of selected physicochemical properties and fire and explosion characteristics of dust sampled at selected locations within the manufacturing process are carried out, including the evaluation of the obtained data and their comparison with the existing protection concept. In the final part, based on the obtained results, measures are proposed to modify and extend the existing explosion protection concept.
