Abstract

This thesis deals with the use of minerals in medicine. It is divided into four parts where information about minerals used in medicine and healing are consecutively presented. First part focuses on history and its treatments practised since antiquity and Middle Ages. The second part deals with minerals and their usage in alternative medicine. The third part describes minerals and their use in modern medicine. The last part introduces minerals and minerals treatment such as one of the most important impulses for realization and expansion of the tourism industry.
