Abstract
The theme of this thesis is the optimization of inventory management in the company BONATRANS GROUP a.s. The main objective is to characterize the current inventory management system in the company. The content of the theoretical part is an explanation of the basic theoretical terms, the factors influencing inventory, inventory management procedures and methods for their optimization. In the practical part the company is presented and according to the results of implemented analyzes the options and recommendations are suggested, by which the company might proceed with improvement for the inventory management system.
