Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the technology and development of directional and horizontal wells for oil and natural gas. At the beginning of this thesis is an explanation of the types of directional wells and their use for the given situations when the directional or deflection wells are realized. Whether it's because of geological obstacles, the opening of new bearing/deposits or techniques for eradication of eruptions. In the next part of this document is description and development of how deflection wells are classified according to rate of curvature recruitment and their terminology. The creation of these streamlined wells has led to a major development from the point of view of the measuring systems currently in use. It also introduce with the use of modern measuring systems with electronic sensors they are currently transmitting data from the well depth. At the end of this work is familiarization with the equipment used on the first horizontal well in Hungary by Schlumberger.
