Abstract
This thesis focuses on Assessment of employee remuneration system in a selected company. The company in question wished to remain anonymous, and therefore it is referred to as the "selected company" throughout the thesis. The thesis is divided into two parts: a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with three main topics related to the remuneration system, which create a gradual logical chain in HR practice. These topics are employee motivation, employee performance evaluation, and employee remuneration. The practical part consists of presenting the selected company and analyzing the current state of its remuneration system. These chapters are followed by a section with a questionnaire survey. The research methodology was chosen as a combination of a questionnaire survey among a selected group of employees, a guided interview with HR manager, and an analysis of internal documents related to the remuneration system, which also includes employee motivation and evaluation. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the existing remuneration system in the company based on the results obtained from the research, identify its strengths and weaknesses, and propose possible improvements and recommendations, which will be addressed in the final chapter.
