Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the complete project and construction of educational stand of two most common types of axles. Two most common types of axles were chosen for this work: double wishbone axle, concretely axle from the StudenCar SCX prototype and the axel McPherson taken from Skoda Favorit. These axels are widespread in a car industry, because of their simple construction and good driving characteristics. This thesis describes each type of stand, which can be seen in the presentation. Based on this research, at the beginning, there is a suggestion how to realize given topic. Furthermore, there is given a detailed description of a process of construction of an axel’s stand and technologies used during manufacturing the stand. Welded frame was created, in this frame different types of components were placed. The thesis describes individual steps of welding and also the application of protective layers of paint. The result of this work is complete educational axel stand, which will be used for practical training.
