Sledování obsahu PCBs ve vybraných lokalitách Sokolovské hnědouhelné pánve

Abstract

The thesis is focused on the study of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in the Sokolov brown coal basin, which are among the persistent organic pollutants with carcinogenic potential. Selected polychlorinated biphenyls, as regulated by Decree ME 3 / 1996, I analyzed the soil at selected sites in the Karlovy Vary region, specifically it was the following sites: Letterkenny - collecting yard area, Karlovy Vary - Skalnikovy sady. Laboratory analysis of PCBs was performed after preparation of samples using high-performance gas chromatography (GC) with electron capture detector (ECD). Observed values of the PCBs were compared with the valid legislation of the Czech Republic
