Finanční analýza vybraného průmyslového podniku

Abstract

The thesis is focused on financial analysis of the selected company-Ostrava Transportation Company, Inc. in the years 2011 - 2016. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of financial analysis. The practical part is focused on calculation, evaluation comparison results of the analysis in different years. The analysis will be performed by vertical and horizontal analysis, financial ratios, bankruptcy and credibility models and DuPont pyramid decomposition. The practical part contains recommendations for improving the financial situation of the Ostrava Transportation Company, Inc. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the financial health of the company.
