Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with the design and assessment of the supporting structure of a steel hall for storage. It is a three-hinged framed hall with variable cross-section of crossbars and columns. The load-bearing system of the structure consists of transverse connections of 6 m each and the spatial rigidity is provided by a system of stiffeners. The hall has a rectangular plan with dimensions of 20 m x 60 m. The content of the thesis is to carry out the design and static calculation of the selected variant of the solution and the assessment of the main structural members. The design and assessment of selected details are also made as well as drawing documentation. The limit state assessment of the hall construction is carried out according to the relevant standards and using the software SCIA Engineer 22.1 and Microsoft Excel.
