Abstract

DRATVA, Vít. Proposal for a Concept of Education in the Area of Population Protection and Crisis Management: Thesis, Ostrava: VŠB-TU Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering, 2015. The here presented master's thesis deals with the history of the development of training and education of the public primarily in the area of civil protection and crisis management. The primary basis for determining the education level of the public in the given location was a questionnaire survey of students and the adult population. A SWOT analysis was used to evaluate the current education and training level of civil protection and crisis management and formed the basis for the proposed measures for implementation. Furthermore, it was necessary to specify modules designed for the education of target groups with respect to the issued "Civil Protection Concept 2020" with an outlook to the year 2030. The objective of the master's thesis was to propose a methodology for the selection of modules relevant for the target group.
