Abstract

In this bachelor's thesis I will deal with inventory management in the company Hunter Douglas Kadaň s. r. o. In the first part of the thesis, I focus on general stock management concepts, their valuation and costs associated with them. I also describe the most commonly used methods of modern inventory management. In the practical part I describe the operation of these processes in a selected company. The essence of the thesis is the analysis of current practice in company. Based on the obtained and analyzed data, recommendations are set for improving the company management.
