Zkušenosti s používáním střešní fólie na bázi EPDM v České republice a vyhodnocení zkoušek dlouhodobých vlastnostíí

Abstract

Roof is usually most strained part of building. Resist to elements, UV rays, snow, sunshine, wind and also protect building against weather. Proper protection and roof reliability is fully dependent on quality of used materials and proper roof design. This thesis in first part describe basic roof layouts, commonly used materials and good roofing practise. Analyse mostly used roofing materials with special attention to EPDM roofing membranes. In practical part exploring weather ageing effects on material by testing samples from existing roofs. Samples evaluation after 20 years service show, that EPDM roofing membrane can serve many years without significant loss of original properties.
