Final thesis, Supervisor: Landryová, L. This thesis describes the functionalities of ABB marine Power Management System while using the control system ABB AC 800. The theoretical part describes the functionalities of the Power Management System used in marine vessels as well as the libraries used for its control through the ABB AC 800 control system. The practical part start with the design of a short program to demonstrate the functionalities of the Power Management System and the final part is the development and design of a new control module for the PMS in order to facilitate the simulation of a Variable Speed Drive control and fault scenarios on the vessel. The aim of the thesis is to create a simulation for the On Off control variable speed drive for the Power management system for the company ABB s.r.o.
