Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with the environmental management system according to ISO 14001 as a tool for environmental protection. This voluntary instrument of environmental policy in the Czech Republic, which companies can introduce into its structure, can have a significant effect on the economic situation of companies as well as the preservation of a healthy environment.
