Abstract

This dissertation is dedicated to the rain sewers in Hošťálkovice, as one of the districts of Ostrava. Specifically the existing rain sewer system on Hlavní Street. There is a technical assessment of the current condition of sewage, local site conditions and there are proposed options for reconstruction of the sewer. This work focuses on the possibility of excavation and trenchless sewer repair. This dissertation presents an overview of all types of trenchless methods, and to assess which method is suitable for use for the site. The work comprehensively compares possibilities of trenchless and excavation sewer repair, considering the technology of the repair, local conditions, economic possibilities and the current technical condition of drains. Conclusion of this work is to evaluate the most suitable design rainwater sewer reconstruction.
