Abstract

This thesis deals with a website design for a company of Sedm Stromu a.s. This company has lanched a project called „Kampus Palace“ in order to build up a new a university campus complex on the former Hotel Palace site in Ostrava city. The market research was done by means of group discussion, public questionnaire form and the method of „card sorting“. The website design process was made by the Microsoft Visio program. The goal of the work itself is to create both a content and a look design of the website straight on the URL internet address of www.kampuspalace.cz. New website design is supposed to attract potential customers by its interactive content like on-line room booking system, a gateway to yearly event reports and news and at the same time act as a communication and promotional event site.
