GOOSE komunikace u elektrických ochran řady Relion

Abstract

This thesis describes the function of modern electronic protection relays in various applications and their advantages and disadvantages in comparison to electro-mechanical protections. It also characterizes some of communication protocols used for both horizontal and vertical communication. The focus is put on GOOSE type communication, because it is included in practical part of the thesis. Practical part of the thesis also describes configuration of protection relays and communication between them.
