Technologie sémantického webu a jeho využití při tvorbě WWW stránek

Abstract

Searching the Internet for a desired piece of information does not always ensure fully relevant results. The solution to this problem may be the semantic web and the ontology reflecting the achievements of research in the field of knowledge representation. By means of such technologies, we get content which is easy to access and process at the same time; the meaning is superior to the data itself. The meaning is clearly defined due to which the data found in a search match the submitted criteria and conditions. The goal of this thesis is to familiarize the reader with the above mentioned concept of semantic web, and with relevant technologies, and, on a practical example of e-shopping, demonstrate the creation of its ontology as well as the implementation method of its web application.
