Abstract

Master thesis deals with the dynamic adsorption of sulfate ions, using modified Fomitopsis pinicola. The first part describes sulfates, current methods of disposal and the current situation. Further explanation of the column system, the study of optimal conditions and a description of biosorbents. In the experimental partare described parameters as column height and flow rate. The ideal pH of the aqueous medium and the initial concentration of sulfates were based on my thesis. For description of the dynamic sorption was used Thomas, Yoon-Nelson and BDST model. As the most suitable height of the column, the column was evaluated by 15 cm, which corresponds to 48 g polypore Fomitopsis pinicola and the best flow rate for the process was measured at 10 ml min-1. The highest removal efficiency of sulfate was 94,79 %.
