Abstract
This thesis deals with biodegradation of organic compounds in the fret bedrock using two selected microorganisms. The first part describes decontamination technologies, which are divided into thermal, physico-chemical and biological in the thesis. They explain their brief principle as well as the pollutants removed. Another part is devoted to organic environmental contaminants, especially to pollutants of the soil environment – polyaromatic and petroleum hydrocarbons. The third charter follows up the characteristics of two selected types of microorganisms that were used in the biodegradation experiment itself. These are Pseudomonas monteilii and Rhodococcus degradans. In the experimental part of the thesis, the methodologies and workflow are described in detail. The results of the individual analyzes are then arranged in tables and shown as graphs. The last part of the thesis is devoted to evaluation and discussion of the achieved results.
