Abstract
The aim of the thesis "Statistical Process Control in Food Production" is to take all necessary steps during the short-term studies, to implement SPC methods in the production of rice milk in a manufacturing company in the field of food Mlékárna Kunín, a.s. This thesis contains a theoretical statistical process control, including Shewhart control charts, it also discern random effects and the types of regulation and its application. The theoretical and methodological part also covers the theory of quality, seven basic tools of quality management, legislation and standards related to food production and the theory of metrology and measurement. The thesis also consists of analysis of selected process and in its current state, interpretation of SPC methods and evaluation of potential assignable causes and suggestions for improvement.
