Abstract

This Thesis deals with the formation of a base map of a quarry and with characteristic sections of a quarry according to local ordinance of The Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic from the 20 July 1993 No. 1/1993 fundamental horizontal control the documentation in mining activities and some activities conducted by mining method.

The first, theoretical part of this Thesis deals with the classification of maps, with the point field fundamental horizontal control in the underground and on the mine surface, with the mine surveying documentation and with its contents. The method of the formation of the base map of a qaurry is described in the second, practical, part of this Thesis.The elaborated graphical part (map of the opencast quarry), field record books, lists of coordinates of points are given in the supplements to this Thesis.
