Multimediální centrum jako jedno zařízení

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to design HTPC in terms of hardware and software and extend it for a feature which is not typical with this device. Before the design itself, it is important to define the terminology for this device since the chosen device is sometimes confused with other solutions which do not comply with typical qualities of HTPC. In the design itself, the emphasis is put not only on typical qualities for this kind of computer, but also on qualities which are typical for contemporary modern devices belonging to the same category. The final extension is constructed and programmed with the purpose of providing as exact results as possible with respect to their usability. For verification of the goals that have been met, the final device is compared to ready-made products which are sold.
