Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with creation of thin layers (films) mainly using the method of laser ablation. The thesis presents widely used thin-film applications in the field of safety practices and points to their possible use in the near future. Part of thesis consists of processing graphical user interface for XUV-ABLATOR, which allows to simulate laser ablation processes excited by laser pulses in the area of ultra-short wavelength of the electromagnetic spectrum.
