Abstract
Bachelor thesis is focused on the influence of the method of deoxidation on oxygen activity in the steel. The first chapter is devoted to theoretical bases, it deals generally with steel, oxygen and its role in steel production as well as deoxidation and its ways. The second chapter focuses on the current knowledge in the field of steel deoxidation and its ways, especially discusses selected surveys implemented in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic in recent years. The third chapter presents the debate, the summary of key findings and comparison with the views other expert authors.
