Abstract

This diploma thesis pertains to the construction of a laboratory workplace intended to test pressure and air mass sensors. The theoretical part focuses on analyzing the value range of air mass and pressure of the intake air for diesel and gasoline engines, then there is displayed the calculation of these values along with examples for different types of vehicles. It further explains both function and principle of chosen air mass sensor types as well as barometric pressure sensor and pressure of intake air. The next part of the thesis is dedicated to the practical insight into a thoroughly described scheme of station constructed for measurement of pressure and air mass sensors, based on which this station was implemented. The description is divided into two parts - the first one deals with a mechanical draft and the second part deals with electronic draft. At the end, there is inserted a sample laboratory task that includes results that were measured at this station.
