Hodnocení vlivů teploty na vývin plynných zplodin při zahřívání granulátů pro vstřikovací lisy

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the assessment of the effect of temperature on the development of emissions generated during the heating of plastic granulate intended for use in injection molding machines. The introductory chapters focus primarily on plastics, additives, and other chemical substances that may be present in them, as well as emissions that can arise during the operation of injection molding machines. The practical part analyzes the emissions from plastic granulates using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, a gas analyzer, and a furnace constructed according to DIN 53 436 standards. Based on the obtained results, substances and situations were identified that could be hazardous during the operation of injection molding machines in terms of employees inhalation exposure to emissions. Finally, safety measures are proposed to reduce inhalation exposure to these emissions.
