Modernizace laboratoních úloh s digitálními filtry v předmětu Signálové procesory

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the modernization of laboratory tasks in the field of digital filters in the Signal Processors course. In the theoretical part, the problems of FIR (Finite Impulse Response) and IIR (Infinite Impulse Response) digital filters are described in detail. Their properties, implementation structures and design methods are presented in turn. The aim of this work is to provide students with a comprehensive guide for working with digital filters by means of the templates (code skeletons) created, in which the individual steps for the design of FIR and IIR filters are given. In addition, Matlab scripts are provided with which students can design a filter according to their own requirements. These scripts automatically generate the necessary filter coefficients. Finally, the functionality of the designed sets of digital filters is verified through laboratory measurements. This tutorial is intended to support the teaching of Signal Processors and aims to facilitate students’ understanding of the subject.
