Abstract
Diploma thesis deals with the Design for Six Sixma approach, philosophy used to improve the effective course of pre-production stages in manufacturing companies. Thesis is divided into four sections. The introductory part analyzes current approaches to realization of pre-production stages. The second part characterizes the Design for Six Sixma approach. The third part identifies selected tools of the Design for Six Sigma approach. The last part focuses on the suggestion of practical use of selected tools of Design for Six Sigma approach for the effective course of pre-production stages in manufacturing companies.
