Srovnání studentských úvěrů ve vybraných zemích

Abstract

The goal of this thesis is to analyse the student loans between Slovakia, Czech Republic, United Kingdom(England) and Netherlands. Then we will compare them on the national and on the international level. The comparison will be based on the law of one price, the purchasing power parity, the HICP index and the Big Mac index. The thesis will consist of five chapters, the first chapter is the introduction, the latest conclusions. In the second chapter we will introduce the basic terms and the types of loans. Then we will describe what the student loan is. In the third chapter we will compare the student loans offered in the each selected country. We will describe the student loans offered by the governments and the student loans offered by the banks. In each country we will select three banks, that are offering solutions for the students. Also, the education systems in the selected countries will be described in this chapter. In the fourth chapter we will introduce the role of student X, who is looking for the student loan. The selected student loans will be analysed and compared based on the student's requirements. The international comparison will be based on the calculation based on the law of one price, comparison of HICP index and the Big Mac index.
