Abstract

The main goal of the thesis is to evaluate the financial performance of the selected company and comparison in the refinery sector. The performance is measured using a variety of traditional and modern financial indicators. The work consists of a theoretical and a application part. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of business and its performance indicators and a description of financial analysis and business performance. Application part contains characteristics of the selected company and analysis of financial performance of the company followed by a comparison of these results with the refinery sector. In conclusion, obtained results are evaluated and is created a recommendation for the chosen company.
