Abstract

The presented bachelor thesis deals with the issue of personal protective equipment focused on vision in the selected chemical industry. The aim of the thesis is to create a clear document in which the possible variants of eye protection from the most important manufacturers will be elaborated. The document will serve as an aid for the appropriate selection of eye protection against the risks that may endanger it. The first part of the paper contains the legal framework concerning eye protection, a description of the different types of protective eyewear and other eye protection equipment, a general risk analysis and assessment, and the definition of requirements for personal protective eyewear. The second part of the thesis focuses on the actual developed document containing eye protection.
