Problematika starých ekologických zátěží

Abstract

This diploma thesis adresses the problems of old ecological loads in the Czech Republic, focusing on their origin, characteristics, and methods of remediation within the framework of applicable legislation. The thesis focuses on the historical Doleček waste landfill located in the cadastral area of Luboměř, which is registered in the SEKM system. The theoretical part summarizes the legislative framework, methodologies for identification and assesment of old ecological loads, and provides an overview of commonly applied remediation and corrective measures. It also includes a description of the location, history, and operation of the Doleček landfill. The practical part focuses on the current condition of the site, sampling, leachate preparation, and the application of analytical methods. The measured values are evaluated and compared with applicable limit values. Based on the results obtained, appropriate remediation measures are proposed. The thesis concludes with an assesment of the level of environmental burden at the site is and outlines possible directions for further research.
