Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to design and analyse method for graph visualisation of social networks. The thesis introduces an algorithm, that merges verticies of graph based on the their degree. The result is a simplified graph of the network. In addition, a method, that filters edges based on their betweenness centrality is used. There is also implemented an application for visualisation of the output graph. Designed method is tested on data of real social networks.
