Životní podmínky domácností zemí Visegrádské skupiny

Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on the standard of living of the households in the countries of Visegrad group. The basic terms related to standards of living and quality of life are defined in the theoretical part of the thesis and also the indices for measuring the quality of life are selected. The empirical part of my thesis is devoted to the economical development of selected countries and also selected indices of standard of living in the 1990s. The practical part is then aimed at analysis of living conditions in the time of economic crisis. The goal of my thesis is to describe the development of standard of living of the Visegrad group countries and to detect if and how the economic crisis influenced the standard of living in households of the selected countries.
