Vliv rotorového proudění na měření plynů pomocí UAV

Abstract

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs, also called drones) are a modern tool with a wide range of applications across many industries, including the mining industry. They find their application in both open-pit and underground mining of mineral resources, where they are mainly used for prospecting of deposits, creation of mining measurement documentation and ensuring the safety of operation. In the field of safety, UAVs are used to monitor slope instabilities, monitor thermal phenomena, inspect mine workings and also to detect the presence of hazardous gases. Gas detection is currently crucial not only for accident prevention, but also for meeting current legislative requirements, for example under Regulation (EU) 2019/942 of the European Parliament and of the Council, which focuses on safety in the energy sector. The thesis focuses on the influence of UAV rotor flow on the accuracy of gas measurements, which is a crucial factor for correct data interpretation and efficient use of drones in challenging operating conditions.
