Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with analysis of inventory management. The goal is to find ways how to reduce holdings of inventory and economic ordering quantities of individual items of inventory. Includes analysis of current inventory management in business, design of differentiated inventory management using ABC analysis and order quantity of each item. The results are recommendations on how to effectively reduce the amount of inventory in stock, whig ordering system should be used to resupply and compare different methods for determining the safety stock.
