Analýza a optimalizace zásob

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis and optimization of the manufacturing inventory of a public limited company Alika. This company is the biggest producer of dried fruit and roasted nuts in the Czech Republic. In the first part of the thesis there is a description of basic theoretical resources of the inventory management. In the analytical part there is an introduction of the company to which the analysis and optimization is applied, then there is a division of the manufacturing inventory into the groups with the help of ABC Analysis. The calculated options of the quantity of the safety stocks and order levels for two chosen commodities are also included in this part. The third part of the thesis includes suggestions and recommendations connected with the systems of inventory management for individual groups of the inventory that are determined by the ABC Analysis. It continues with the suggestions for appropriate quantity of the safety stocks and order levels of analyzed commodities. In the end of the thesis the attained results are evaluated and complemented with some suggestions for the company’s future use.
