Abstract
The subject of this thesis is the study of the hydrogen effect on structural and mechanical properties of IN738LC alloy samples during hot forming. Samples were taken from as-cast rods as well as after directional crystallization.
Selected samples were hydrogenated in hydrogen atmosphere at 1150°C with a holding time of 4 hours. Subsequently, compressive test at 1150°C and 1200°C non-hydrogenated and hydrogenated samples was performed on plastometer GLEEBLE 3800. In all specimens microstructure, formability and susceptibility to cracking were investigated.
