Abstract

Goal of my system, is to replace gate-keeper. Development of system is composed of web application, device itself and API endpoints for communication between device and web application. Device is using microcomputer Raspberry Pi 3B + and code wich is written in Python. Microcomputer and all the electronics is stored in custom 3d designed and 3D printed box. Web application is also written in Python, using full stack web framework Django. In application you can find system for reservation management, features like remote unlock or lock the gate and control the lights. You can also manage your reservations, access events details and find payment details. To create API endpoints, I use Django Rest Framework package. Endpoints are designed for basic operation as login into device, start event and unlock the gate.
